Hello! My name is Avery, but I often go by the artist pseudonym Hutch the Heinous, so I also respond to being called Hutch. I am a multimedia artist originally from Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. In 2021, while also studying for her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Thompson Rivers University, I began a tattoo apprenticeship and have been drawing on people ever since!

In 2024, me and two other artists left their apprenticeship street shop to work out of a small private location in downtown Kamloops. In 2025, I gradtuated with my degree, and about I year later I packed my things to move to Edinburgh, Scotland.

When Avery isn’t creating art, she enjoys nature and bird photography, playing video games, collecting antiques, and watching horror movies.
