Appointment Info
Please read the following before submitting a booking form.
✣ How much will my tattoo cost?
I currently charge $150/hour, with small sized tattoos taking 1 ~ 2 hours, medium sized tattoos taking 2 ~ 3 hours, and large tattoos taking 5+ hours. Prices may vary depending on how detailed the piece is.
Large tattoos may take more than one session to complete. If I think this will be the case, we will pre-book all of your sessions at the same time.
✣ What is your work schedule?
My tattoo days are Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. I typically begin work at 11:00am and finish around 5:30pm.
For smaller tattoo appointments, you can choose between a 11:00am time slot or a 3:00pm afternoon time slot.
✣ Before you book
I only tattoo 18+, so you MUST be 18 on the day of your tattoo. I will require a valid ID, which can include a driver’s license, passport, or another form of government-issued ID.
Also note that all of my work is hand drawn by me, and I will not directly copy another artist’s work. This doesn’t mean we cannot be inspired by other pieces, so please find as many reference photos as you can so that we can come up with a unique tattoo design just for you! Reference photos can be other tattoos you like, artworks, photos, etc.
✣ Custom projects
I would love to help you realize your tattoo ideas, as long as they align with my style! Depending on the piece, I may send sketches a few days before your appointment, with the latest being the night before. The sketch phase is the easiest time for me to make adjustments, and the final design will be shown to you directly when you come in for your appointment. I will never tattoo something on you that you are not 100% happy with! Major changes may require the appointment to be rescheduled.
If you live in Kamloops, I suggest we book a free consultation with me in the studio so that we can discuss the details of your idea. If you live further away, I am happy to do a video consultation! The actual tattoo appointment will be booked after we have confirmed everything at your consult. Discussion of your project will be primarily via email, so remember to check your junk and spam folders.
✣ Flash projects
You can check this page for all of my available flash designs. All flash has a minimum size requirement, and the price is set based on this size. If you are wanting the piece to be scaled larger, the price may increase. If the flash you wanted is no longer available, I am more than happy to do a similar custom design!
✣ Deposits
I do not currently take deposits, however this will be changing in the near future.
✣ Touch-ups
I want my work to always look it's best, so if after at least 5 weeks you think your piece needs a touch-up, we can schedule you in. I charge a fee of $20 for my supplies, however will offer free touch-ups if you get them alongside another tattoo (please indicate that you’d like touch-ups BEFORE booking so that I can leave enough time for it.)
✣ Preparing for your appointment
What to Do:
✦ Take a shower and stay hydrated. Make sure your skin is clean and moisturized.
✦ Eat a proper meal before your appointment. A full stomach will help prevent dizziness or nausea.
✦ Wear or bring appropriate clothes that allow easy access to the area I am tattooing. Please note that some locations may require you to fully remove a clothing item.
✦ Bring snacks or a lunch for longer sessions.
✦ If you’d like, you are more than welcome to bring headphones to zone out.
✦ You may bring a maximum of 1 friend to accompany you to your appointment. Our studio is small and gets crowded easily, especially if all of the artists are working at the same time.
What not to Do:
✦ You do not need to shave the area before your appointment- I will shave you at the appointment, and double shaving can lead to rashes and razor burn. However, if your hair is very long or thick, please trim it down a bit. I use disposable razors, so just short enough that it wont get clogged as easy is fine!
✦ Please do not drink alcohol the day before your appointment as it is a blood thinner and will make tattooing you much more difficult.
